What is SSPC?

SSPC offers world-class training and personalized guidance to athletes of all levels and abilities. Its expert team and state-of-the-art facility are designed to help athletes break barriers, accomplish goals and reach new heights in their athletic journey. SSPC was established to combat disability inequity in sports science. It is at the forefront of disability sports, combining cutting-edge science with expert guidance to empower all athletes to achieve extraordinary results.

At SSPC, every athlete starts with a performance assessment, customized to meet your needs. From there, a personalized plan can be created. Each plan is designed to reach your specific goals, which our team of experts help you implement. We focus on three primary areas:

  • Strength & Conditioning (including rest and recovery)
  • Nutrition
  • Mental Performance

SSPC doesn’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every athlete’s journey is unique, and their training plan should be as well. With a focus on individual needs and goals, SSPC’s personalized training plans are designed to unleash every athlete’s unique potential.

Why SSPC?

Athletes are at the heart of everything SSPC does, so why not let them tell you?

“As I’m training for the Paralympics, I need to really focus and hone in on my energy on how I get to Paralympics and hopefully how I get on the podium. These resources are going to help me get there.”

Annika Hutsler, multi-sport Para athlete

“What makes SSPC different really is the people. There is just a culture of people here that care about the adaptive athlete and their goals. It’s a feeling that you don’t get everywhere you go.”

Ahkeel Whitehead, Paralympic track and field athlete

“When I started to hone in on more than just getting better at my sport — actually taking care of my body, working to get stronger, putting the right things in my body and keeping my mind healthy — is really what gave me the edge. It can be super helpful for athletes looking to transition into a higher level of performance.”

Bailey Moody, Two-time Paralympic wheelchair basketball medalist
